MTV published an article regarding Jamie Lynn Spears' relationship status with Casey Aldridge. Most of the information below is based on this week's OK! magazine. (What's New then?) Jamie Lynn Spears is planning to get a Business degree in college after Maddie Briann gets settled.
Jamie Lynn Spears goes on the record in the latest issue of OK! Magazine about the nature of her relationship with fiance Casey Aldridge, amid rumors that the father of her 3-month-old daughter Maddie Briann has been unfaithful to the former "Zoey 101" star.
Shortly after Spears, 17, gave birth to their daughter in June, tabloids began to report that Aldridge, 19, was seeing other women and had gotten one of them pregnant. In the OK! interview, which took place at the couple's Mississippi home, Aldridge denied the allegations, noting that small-town politics had a lot to do with the rumors surfacing.
"In a small town, everybody knows everybody," he told the magazine. "But when money's involved, you find out who your friends are."
Meanwhile, Spears defended her fiance and accused the women who alleged that Aldridge was dating them of doing it for the attention. "What happened was that one of those girls did it, and in this small town when one of them does it, they're all like, 'Good idea,' " she explained. "They all jumped on the bandwagon."
She also flat-out denied any rumors that 28-year-old Kelli Dawson is pregnant with Aldridge's child, saying that Dawson has a reputation for not telling the truth. "That is just completely fabricated," Jamie Lynn added. "He never had an intimate relationship with her, so how would that be possible? Around here, that particular girl is known to make up stories."
But what bothers Spears the most is the fact that she and Aldridge's family have to deal with the media scrutiny. "It hurt me to hear those things, because my family has to read it. It's not fair to them," she said. "Casey's family is not used to this. They might assume it's true. My family knows it's not. It was definitely harder for Casey's family to deal with it, but you just explain that it is part of this business."
Spears said her own family is standing behind the young couple while they raise their daughter in the eyes of the media. "They know if I were in a relationship like that, I wouldn't put up with it," she said. "My family supports me, and they support Casey also. They read those stories and take them with a grain of salt."
When asked about the future, the couple said they intend to marry, but not any time soon. Spears said she wants to wait until Maddie is old enough to take part in the ceremony. "We are engaged, and we are really happy with where we are right now," she said. "There isn't a rush for anything."
However, they are working on their futures: Aldridge is studying process technology at Southwest Mississippi Community College. And, once the baby gets older, Spears also hopes to attend college.
"I want to get my business degree. I could take online courses right now, but with Maddie being so young, it's hard to sit down and focus," she said. "I do want to go to college and get my degree."
Jamie Lynn Spears have gone further to silence previous rumors of her splitting with Casey Aldridge. She has told OK! that the only thing holding back her wedding is the fact that Maddie Briann is still too young to be an intricate part to their wedding. Additionally, reliable sources have revealed that Jamie Lynn Spears is NOT pregnant (in order words, recent rumors are entirely false).
JAMIE LYNN SPEARS and her fiance CASEY ALDRIDGE have blasted rumours of a split - insisting they are still very much a couple and plan to marry one day.
The teen couple - parents of four-month-old baby Maddie - have become the subject of much tabloid speculation in recent months, with reports suggesting they are living apart, after Aldridge cheated on the 17-year-old actress.
But in an interview with OK! magazine the pair insists the infidelity rumours are false, and maintain a wedding is planned once their baby daughter is old enough to take part in the ceremony. Spears says, "We both agree we want Maddie to be a little bit older so that we she can be a part of it, so that she won't just be sitting there the whole time.
"We are engaged and we are really happy with where we are right now. There is no rush for anything." Meanwhile, a representative for the teenage actress has denied reports Jamie Lynn is already pregnant with her second child.
Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge have revealed to OK! Magazine directly. The couple claimed that previous rumors regarding Casey cheating is entirely false! They claimed that Kelli Dawson was tempted by money and that she's a typical (false) gossip initiator in their community. However, one ought to wonder why Casey wasn't at the party Britney Spears threw for her boys. Below is the preview to the OK! issue coming out this Thursday.
Due to budget issues, I make no guarantees whether scans from this issue will be available. If you have a copy of the magazine and would like to share with other Jamie Lynn fans, you are more than welcome to submit scans to Jamie Insider via e-mail (jamieinsider[at]gmail.com, replace [at] with @).
In a rare, exclusive interview, new parents Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge have reached out to OK! to defend themselves and their relationship against the tidal wave of rumor that has nagged them since the June 19 birth of their adorable baby daughter, Maddie Briann.
A recent series of scurrilous tabloid stories have alleged that not only has 19-year-old Casey been unfaithful to Jamie Lynn, but that he's also gotten another woman pregnant. The stories insist that the couple's relationship is a sham and that he is still seeing other girls!
On the topic of former friend Kelli Dawson, who claims to have been romantically involved with Casey, even after Maddie's birth, he tells OK! these allegations of infidelity are "not the least bit" true.
"In a small town, everybody knows everybody," he explains. "But when money's involved, you find out who your friends are."
As for reports he impregnated Kelli, a stunned Casey told OK!, "That's news to me."
"That is just completely fabricated," adds Jamie Lynn. "He never had an intimate relationship with her, so how would that be possible? Around here, that particular girl is known to make up stories."
And then there's Whitney Seals, who supposedly romanced Casey. Says Jamie Lynn, "What happened was that one of those girls did it, and in this small town when one of them does it, they're all like, 'Good idea.' They all jumped on the bandwagon."
The tall tales have takend their toll on the young parents. "It hurt me to hear those things," reveals Jamie Lynn to OK!. "Because my family has to read it. It's not fair to them."
Another factor making things worse is that the Aldridge family has been thrust unwillingly into the spotlight. "Casey's family is not used to this," the former Zoey 101 star explains. "They might assume it's true. My family knows it's not. It was definitely harder for Casey's family to deal with it, but you just explain that it is part of this business."
The new mom says that her family has stood beside her through the entire ordeal. "They know if I were in a relationship like that, I wouldn't put up with it," she tells OK!. "My family supports me, and they support Casey also. They read those stories and take them with a grain of salt."

Jamie Lynn Spears, watching the LSU Tigers
battle the Mississippi State Bulldogs with fiancé Casey Aldridge at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La. Before the game, the casual
pair hung in the Tiger Suites on the stadium's east side. But they watched
the match from a luxury suite. On the way to the suite, Spears stopped to
sign autographs and take pictures with young fans, while Aldridge stood by
holding her purse. "She was just mingling," the source says.
Lynne Spears spoke with Rachel Ray a week or so ago. In the interview, she mentioned that Casey "is in school and [Jamie Lynn] is at home with the baby" (an indication that they have not broke up?).
Lynn Spears is not happy with the way the world attacked her and
daughter Jamie Lynn, 17, over the teen's pregnancy, and celebrated that
of Bristol Palin,
the 17-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin. Jamie Lynn is now mom to
3-month-old daughter Maddie and engaged to the baby's dad, and Lynn is
promoting her book, "Through the Storm." She sat down for a Q&A
with Newsweek to promote the book, and eventually the talk turned to the Palins.
You and Jamie Lynn got some negative press when
she got pregnant so young. But more recently, 17-year-old Bristol
Palin, and her mother, Sarah Palin, the Republican vice presidential
candidate, found themselves in a similar situation. And the public
reaction has been different.
It's a totally different reaction. It's as if [Sarah Palin] became
celebrated. I mean, the mother, Palin, was celebrated for this. Every
woman in the world has applauded her strength and her convictions and
poor little old Jamie Lynn--you saw how she was crucified. Everybody
did, firsthand ... I just feel like it's been a very hypocritical
situation.
What advice would you give the Palin family, having been through a pretty similar situation? I
really can't give advice. I wouldn't give advice because everybody's
situation is different. I would never tell anybody else what to do with
their child. I would never attempt to make them think I knew more about
their child. Even if they were to ask, I would tell them dig deep, what
do you think?
Authorities are on the lookout for an alleged thief who copied pictures of Jamie Lynn Spears breastfeeding her daughter Maddie from her boyfriend Casey Aldridge's digital camera.
"We have been informed that someone was trying to solicit personal photos that belong to Jamie Lynn, and currently the proper authorities are looking into the matter," a rep for Jamie Lynn confirms to OK!.
Casey reportedly took his camera to Wal Mart to have pictures made from the memory card, and officials believe someone made extra copies of the shots and is now trying to sell them to the highest bidder.
