Lynne Takes Blame on Jamie Lynn's Pregnancy

 Britney Spears' mother Lynne has said that she is to blame for her
daughter's erratic behaviour and also revealed that she first found out
that her other daughter Jamie Lynn was pregnant at age 16 in a note.
According to Reuters, she said: "As a mother, don't we always blame
ourselves? I took a lot of the blame. I took all the blame. The
personality I have, it's always my fault."
Lynne Spears went on to tell interviewer Meredith Vieira that she
thought her other daughter Jamie Lynn Spears' pregnancy at age 16 was a
joke, and that she first heard of it through a note.
She said: "It said she (Jamie Lynn) was pregnant and everything was
going to be OK. She was going to raise it ... I thought it was a joke.
I was waiting for the punch line.
"I was in shock. I think I was just truly in shock, and then I started to cry. And she started consoling me at that point."
Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to a baby in June and is raising the child with her boyfriend at her home in Mississipi.
Lynne Spears has written a memoir, 'Through The Storm', which is
being published this week and which concentrates on her daughters' fame.

Jamie Lynn Spears pulled through another well executed plan on using a decoy to relocate the paparazzi when she arrived in LA. You would think the paparazzi would learn by now.
Cameras flashing and films rolling, a crowd of paparazzi surrounded
a police escort, trying to get the perfect shot of Britney Spears'
little sister as she left the Los Angeles International Airport.Just one snag: The woman wasn't Jamie Lynn Spears. In
what appears to be a case of the old switcharoo, airport police on
Wednesday duped paparazzi at the crowded terminal by leading an
unidentified woman — wearing sunglasses and looking away from cameras —
down an escalator and through a hallway while the real Jamie Lynn and
her baby girl safely left the airport from another area. Police denied any trickery and said they were not escorting the woman. "All
(the officers) did was follow the crowd down to the baggage area," said
Sgt. Jim Holcomb of the Los Angeles airport police. "The people they
were following assumed that this was Spears because she was blonde." Despite
the denial, a video posted by TMZ showed several officers tucked in
tight around the woman, some giving paparazzi repeated warnings to
"keep backing up" and "keep moving." Several in the crowd greeted the woman with, "Hello, Jamie," and "How's the baby?" and later learned she was a decoy. Holcomb
said it's against department policy to provide security for
celebrities, but officers were willing to do it after the Spears family
asked for an escort for Jamie Lynn, her baby, her mother and her older
sister Britney, who ended up being a no-show. "If there's
extenuating circumstances, we can do what we need to do," Holcomb said.
"If there was no baby — hey, you're on your own. You're an adult." He
said police were concerned with the possibility of shoving in the crowd
of 100 photographers and about 50 Delta Air Lines employees waiting for
the group. Holcomb said celebrity treatment is nearly impossible to get at the airport. "A
lot of times someone will call and tell us that they're coming in with
a bunch of cars. They just want to park at the curb, and we always say,
'No,'" Holcomb said. "They want recognition, some attention paid to
them." Holcomb said the incident is under review, but added that such debriefings are not unusual. "I think someone got the best of the paparazzi this time," Holcomb said. A message left with Jamie Lynn Spears' publicist was not immediately returned Thursday night. The
17-year-old actress, the younger sister of pop singer Britney Spears,
starred in Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101" and won a Nickelodeon Kids' Choice

Jamie Lynn Spears "loved" mom's book!

 Entertainment Wise has published the article below. Apparently, Jamie Lynn Spears is happy with her mother's book. The book is entitled "Through the Storm" - centering around Lynne and her two daughters: Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn. Although the book reveals much behind the scenes information on Jamie Lynn's pregnancy and Britney Spears' questionable past, Jamie Lynn Spears gives it a thumbs-up!
Lynne says that she was brought to tears when Jamie Lynn gave her blessing to her new tell-all memoir Through The Storm.
"Jamie Lynn loved the book. I started to cry because I told her, 'I wanted so much for you to like it.' And she got up and kissed me on the cheek and said, 'Mama, thank you so much,” says Lynne.
The Spears family matriarch admits her eldest kids Britney and Bryan have yet to read her memoir, but she's thrilled her youngest daughter likes what she has read.
After a rocky relationship it seems that superstar Brit is on better terms with her mother.
"We are back to four or five phone calls a day," says Lynne.

Jamie Lynn arrives at Britney Spears' Crib!

Looks like all the buzz about Jamie Lynn Spears taking Maddie Briann to the birthday of Britney Spears' two boys is true after all! Jamie Lynn Spears and Maddie Briann have arrived in LA!
The youngest Spears arrived in LA this afternoon and headed STRAIGHT to sister Brit's house to introduce little Maddie to her aunt.
But the REAL surprise is that Maddie got to meet her ex-step-half uncle, or whatever he is - Kevin!
KFed was at Britney's to pick up Sean and Jayden and, like he did for the first time last week, he went inside and hung out for a bit -- in fact, he appeared to stay JUST to wait for JL so HE TOO could meet the baby. He was inside for a total of about 45 minutes. It's the third time in a week he's gone inside WITHOUT a bodyguard to chill!
SO much to think about! A Britney/Jamie Lynn reunion; an aunt meeting her niece for the second time after the birth; and Brit and Kevin spending time together!!!

Britney Spears will appear on SIX magazines (US Weekly, People, In Touch, Life & Style, OK!) later this week. Jamie Lynn Spears will appear along side her sister in the Star! issue. The story is featured on the cover with the text "Britney & Jamie Lynn Betrayed by Mom". My guess is that it has to do with their mom's upcoming "Through the Storm" book release (Mid-September). Lynne supports Bristol but denies gift!

According to a FOXNews report, Jamie Lynn Spears did not send a gift to Bristol. In fact, Curt Handling, Spears' publicist, told E! News that he had just spoke with Lynne Spears before revealing the "truth"...
Lynne Spears is denying
reports that she ordered a present to be sent to Bristol Palin, the
pregnant 17-year-old daughter of John McCain’s vice presidential pick
Sarah Palin, on behalf of her teenage daughter (and new mother) Jamie
Lynn Spears.
"I just got off the phone with
Lynne. I can tell you that she hasn't sent her any gifts, but that she
does support Sarah and, of course, can empathize with their situation,"
Curt Handling, Spears' publicist at the Thomas Nelson publishing
company, tells E! News.

Jamie Lynn Sends Gift to Bristol Palin

Access Hollywood released an article on the latest with the 17 year old 5-months-pregnant teen Bristol Palin. FYI, Bristol is the daughter of Republican vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin. Apparently, Jamie Lynn Spears has sent a sixty dollars gift and a note of support to Bristol Palin.
Teenage mom Jamie Lynn Spears, who gave birth to her first child, daughter Maddie, this past June, has sent 17-year-old mom-to-be, Bristol Palin, a gift of designer burp cloths.
Bristol is the teenage daughter of Republican vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin. The Palin family revealed that Bristol is currently five months pregnant, earlier this week.
On Tuesday, Lynne Spears, Jamie Lynn’s mother, called Petit Tresor, the exclusive baby boutique in West Hollywood, Calif., a rep for the store confirmed to Access Hollywood.
Lynne told the clerk who took her call that they wanted to send a gift worth under $100 to Bristol. The Spears’ chose a $60 gift – “Plain Mary” white burp cloths with pink writing.
The note attached to the gift read, “Dear Bristol, Hang in there… xoxo, Jamie Lynn.”
Jamie Lynn, the star of Nickelodeon’s “Zoey 101” and sister of pop star Britney Spears, herself became pregnant at the age of 16. She is reportedly engaged to Casey Aldridge, the father of her newborn.
